Philippe’s voice is a light baritone, warm and versatile, which is unmistakably French, capable of expressing a vast range of emotions through his command of pitch and delivery. Philippe also prides himself on being able to work at a fast pace without compromising the quality of his work. His natural accent is neutral, but he can also adopt French regional accents if needed.
Philippe has two decades’ worth of experience in broadcasting, both on radio and television in the UK (BBC, Sky, ESPN, talkSPORT) as well as in France (RMC, Orange, Canal +). The scope of his voiceover work has been remarkably broad: from TV ads for Volvo to narration for arts programmes on the BBC or National Geographic documentaries, from lip-synching on feature films (Independence Day) to providing voices for cartoons (Disney’s Aladdin) and video games, not forgetting sports and poker commentaries, both ad-libbed and scripted - and the safety instructions for easyjet passengers!
